Great question! Would be great if we had a list of companies who are members to compare with the list of exhibitors.

I've been a part of Colorado Travel Massive for several years now and have always appreciated how friendly, inclusive, welcoming, and productive the group is. Events are well-organized, fun, and I enjoy the variety of people I meet each and every time. I feel like it's my connection to all aspects of travel in our area.

I'm interested in hosting a meeting regarding ways for tourism and hospitality industry businesses can be more inclusive to the 64+ million US consumers with disabilities.

Within the US, people with disabilities control $490 Billion in annual disposable income, on par with Hispanic and Black consumers. This does not include the spending power of the family, friends, and caregivers that travel with these individuals.

Are there any upcoming events that people want to share? If not, let's schedule one.
I am in the Denver metro area and would love to get together.

Hi Angela,

Both Juliana and Sherry are out of town right now, so I'd recommend in their absence to schedule a meetup.

Take a look at our Event Guide at www.travelmassive.com/pages/event-guide which answers most common questions about hosting a Travel Massive meetup.

Since there hasn't been an IRL meetup in quite some time (and some members have moved out of town, etc) it may take some extra hussling and direct outreach to get people to turn up. So it's key to have a convenient venue/place to meet, adequate time to promote the meetup, and a good pitch to attendees (e.g what value they will get from meeting up).

You can submit a meetup directly here on the platform, and I can give you any additional assistance / feedback before we publish it!

Based on previous comments I think there's at least a few people who would be interested in meeting :)

Best,
Ian

Hello everyone, I'm (we) are relocating to Broomfield after 11 years overseas. We currently run a culinary travel site and I'm sure we'll add some Denver/Colorado content. I'm interested to learn of any "must-eats/drinks" in and around Denver. I'm also looking to meet up with any start-ups/entrepreneurs. We are not from the area and haven't been to Denver in years, so any tips are greatly appreciated. Looking forward to this new chapter in our lives. Thanks in advance. Eric

Welcome to Colorado! Gentle question-when are you (vaguely) arriving? I ask because Michelin allegedly currently has teams eating their way through the Denver metro area for some first time stars. This is something to keep an eye out on. Denver: Dragonfly Noodle (I'm obsessed with this place) Milk Tea People (Drinks) Ti Cafe on Broadway, Somebody People (Vegan DELICIOUS-I'm not a vegan btw) Stanley Market Place-there is an authentic Spanish Churreria there (excuse the misspelling) Churreria de Madrid. Also check out Annette while you're there. Bruto in the Dairy Block Development Downtown.

Hi Michelle, thanks for the suggestions. Strangely enough, I received this from Michelin today via their newsletter (guide.michelin.com/us/en/article/michelin-star-revelation/michelin-guide-colorado-announcement). To answer your question, we arrive on the 29th of July. Is the Travel Massive community in/around Denver active with meet ups? Thanks again for the recommendations.

33 minutes later

Hi Patty, yeah, it's kinda strange to read that. But my wife has an exciting non-travel opportunity we just can make work from over here in Ireland. Thankfully we have some great friends already living in Broomfield Thanks for the recommendation. We'll certainly check out the market.

Hey welcome to town! I lived in Broomfield for a while. Enjoyed Paris Banh Mi on 120th often. Burns Pub is a unique one next to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. Enless great places as you expand out from Broomfield in Lafayette, Louisville, Boulder, and of course Denver.

11 hours later

Thanks John. I do love a good banh mi.

Eric, I hope your relocation goes smoothly. Last year, I published the award-winning book, 100 Things to Do in Boulder Before You Die. I divide my time between the metro area and the High Country. Let me know if you’d like to meet for coffee after you get settled or have any questions about Broomfield or the surrounding area. Sandy

1 day later

So do I. Never fun moving internationally. I'd love that Sandy. I'll certainly drop you a line when we get settled in. Thanks again. Eric

Hey Eric, that's exciting to hear you'll be moving to Colorado. We hope you love it here. My husband and I live south of Denver, in Parker. We love heading up to the mountains as well as heading south to Colorado Springs and places beyond. If you'd ever like to come explore our neck of the woods (probably an hour south for you), we'd love to meet and chat, of course over dinner! Best, Jeannine

3 days later

Great to connect Jeannine. And yes, let's sort out getting together once we are settled. I'd love to pick your brain as we've just joined AWIN. Eric
