A big thanks to over 100 travel professionals who joined us in London this week at Stripe’s London office for an evening of hospitality networking and discussion.

On our panel we heard from Alka Carter-Manning, Vice President of Supply Management at TUI Musement and Olivia Palamountain, Trend Analyst at Globetrender, about the travel trends that will matter in 2025

Here’s a few key take-aways from the panel:

• The rise in new travel channels and motivations like wellness, culinary, and sport.
• 80% of tourists visit the same 10% of places — there’s an opportunity for Gen Z to change this.
• Gen Z consumers will abandon the transaction if it’s not frictionless, i.e. Google Pay or Apple Wallet.
• ⁠Want to sell your experiences? Just start locally at hotels and stay friends with the concierges.
• Starting your career in the industry? Look for a mentor to learn from.
